The meeting convened at 7:03 pm with Chairperson Steve Freedkin presiding.

ACTION ON MINUTES
None, approval of minutes for January 2006 meeting carried over to March 2006 meeting.
ACTIONS TAKEN
Denying the Historical Truth of Holocaust
None, item carried over to March 2006 meeting.
Development of a Work Program
M/S/F (Cohen, Bohn) that the discussion to formulate a work plan was useful but that we not produce a formal work plan document. Ayes: Bohn, Cohen, Meola, sorgen, Wagley, Wornick; Noes: Brody, McDonald, Sherman, Winkelman; Abstain: Freedkin, Litman; Absent: Seaton.
Commission Litman abstained because she would rather see the draft before precluding an action plan.
Commission Freedkin abstained because he’s agnostic about whether proceeding to develop a formal written work plan will be useful at this point.
Election of Officers
M/S/C (Litman, Sherman) move to table the item to elect officers to the March 2006 meeting. Ayes: Bohn, Brody, Litman, Meola, Sherman, Winkelman, Wornick; Noes: Cohen, Freedkin, McDonald, sorgen, Wagley; Absent: Seaton.
NEXT MEETING
The next regular meeting will be on Monday, March 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the North Berkeley Senior Center.
