In the OfficeLaurie Capitelli's aides Jill Martinucci (standing) and Linda Perry.

If you call the district 5 office, you will have the opportunity to speak with one of my two legislative aides, Jill Martinucci or Linda Perry.  Jill and Linda are responsible for maintaining the office and for following through on the calls from constituents.

Jill has six years of experience in this role having served as aide to former Councilmember Miriam  Hawley.  During her 25 years in Berkeley, she has been active in the public schools, the League of Women Voters of Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville and served two terms on the board of Berkeley Community Media.  She and her family live in North Berkeley and her two children attended Berkeley High School.   In her pre-civil service life, Jill was an artist and an electrician.

Linda Perry, a long time District 5 resident, is best known to her neighbors as the organizer of the Marin Fountain renovation project.  She is also an advocate for a regional ferry system located at the foot of Gilman Ave.  Linda’s two boys have also gone through the Berkeley Public Schools, the younger now in high school.
