– Jazz bands, carolers, jugglers, talking trees, and toy
soldiers are on-hand to entertain and delight visitors to Berkeley's
thirteen retail districts this holiday season. Festivities are
scheduled for weekends throughout December, with 2-hours of free
parking on Saturdays and free parking all day on Sundays (see
locations below).
Look
for "Shop Berkeley Sweepstakes" posters at participating
merchants. Co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Convention & Visitors Bureau,
this sweepstakes will award three cash prizes: 1st - $1,000
2nd- $500.00 3rd-$500.00. Holiday
shoppers can fill out an entry form at participating merchants until
