Berkeley,
California (Friday, September 12, 2003)
– Any person
registered to vote anywhere in Alameda County and wishing to vote
prior to Election Day, October 7, 2003, may come to the Berkeley
City Clerk Department, 2180 Milvia Street, starting September 15th
through September 26th, Monday through Friday, between the hours of
8 am and 5 pm. The City
Clerk Department will also be open for voting on October 7th,
Election Day, between the hours of 7 am and 8 pm.
To
vote early, you must be registered to vote prior to September 15th. Anyone
not registered to vote has until Monday, September 22nd to register.
Registration forms are available in the City Clerk Department
as well as most post offices, libraries, and dmv offices.
