Records Division

The Berkeley Police Department Records Division is responsible for any and all reports that are transmitted by the Department. The Records Division provides the following for the public:

Towed Vehicles	$75.00 No charge for vehicles that were stolen
Accident Reports	$10.00 Must be an involved party to obtain report
Incident Reports	$1.00 If request is made by mail, $0.10 per page if the request is made at the front counter
Photos	$3.00 per photo (4x6)
Criminal History Printout	$5.00 We only release BPD information and must be requested by the person who was detained
Clearance Letters	$10.00 The requestor must bring their own notary if it is to be notarized
Certification Stamp	$5.00 per document
