Need Help Witness
Needed To Step Forward
Berkeley,
CA. – On Saturday,
September 13, 2003, at 7:05 p.m., a woman was walking home after getting
off the bus. Two males approached her at Woolsey Street and Tremont
Street. One of them
brandished her with a handgun and demanded her purse.
This suspect then grabbed her purse and both suspects ran away. They may have fled in a green 4-door car similar to a Toyota
Tercel. The suspects are described as; 1.
Black male adult, approximately 20 years old, 5’10”, 165lbs.,
slim build, dark complexion and black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and baggy blue jeans. 2.
Black male adult, approximately 20 years old, 5’10”, 165lbs.,
slim build, dark complexion and black hair. He was wearing a dark baseball hat, baggy blue jeans and a
white or black t-shirt. A woman carrying a guitar and riding her bicycle saw
what happened. She stopped
to help the victim and followed the suspects as they fled.
However, this Good Samaritan left before the police arrived so we
were unable to contact her and obtain important suspect details and
information. The Berkeley Police Department is seeking the public’s
help in solving this case and especially needs the witness of this crime
to contact us. If you have
